Merino/Nylon in ‘Swithland’
Merino/Nylon in ‘Swithland’ is a blend of merino wool and nylon. It’s a fingering/4 Ply yarn. This Merino/Nylon in ‘Swithland’ was hand-dyed in my home studio in France. Each skein is a variegated blend of greys, with splashes of deep purple. A lovely, soft yet strong yarn.
This Merino/Nylon in ‘Swithland’ is a sumptuous, smooth, soft yarn that’s perfect for larger garments and knits up beautifully for socks, mittens, gloves, shawls, cowls, hats, and scarves. All of my Merino is from well-managed farms that DO NOT inflict mulesing on their sheep.
Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 4-5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project. If you need a larger quantity of skeins than I have in the shop, please ask me to custom dye a new batch for you.
