MCN in ‘Rock Pool’
This MCN in ‘Rock Pool’ is a blend of merino wool, cashmere fibres and nylon. It’s a fingering/4 Ply yarn, hand-dyed in my home studio in France. My MCN in ‘Rock Pool’ is a variegated dye-type in tones of sea greens, finished with added speckles of rust, pinks and deep greens to represent the life in rock pools. MCN is extremely soft on the skin.
This MCN in ‘Rock Pool’ is a sumptuous, smooth, soft yarn that’s perfect for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, hats, and scarves. I personally would not knit socks with this yarn, as it is not a hard-wearing enough blend. Use it to create luxuriously soft items.
All of my Merino is from well-managed farms that DO NOT inflict mulesing on their sheep.
Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 4-5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project. If you need a larger quantity of skeins than I have in the shop, please ask me to custom dye a new batch for you.
