BFL Wool/Nylon in ‘Serenity’
This BFL Wool/Nylon in ‘Serenity’ is a Fingering/4 Ply wool, hand-dyed in my home studio near Angoulême, France. My BFL Wool/Nylon in ‘Serenity’ is hand dyed in peaceful, serene blues, from very pale to delicate turquoise tones and slightly lilac toned blues.
BFL is very soft on the skin, yet because of the fleece having a long staple length, it’s hard wearing and naturally resistant to pilling – so perfect for socks. It’s a sumptuous, smooth, soft, yet strong yarn that’s perfect for socks! Of course, my BFL Wool/Nylon in ‘Serenity’ is also great for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, hats, mittens and scarves.
Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project. If you need a larger quantity of skeins than I have in the shop, please ask me to custom dye a new batch for you.
All of my BFL is from small, well-managed British farms. These farms adhere to high animal welfare standards. It’s spun in British mills.
