Merino Singles 'Celadon'

Merino Singles 'Celadon' is hand-dyed in my home studio in the Charente countryside near Angouleme, France. This Merino Singles in 'Celadon' is a 100% merino wool which is ‘singles-spun’. It's a semi-solid blend of a pale, green shade with a hint of blue. .

This Merino Singles in 'Celadon' is a loosely spun, soft ‘singles’, 4-ply yarn. It knits the same as any pure merino wool, but has a slight crimp to it. I love using Merino singles for lacey, dressy shawls. It is NOT suitable for making socks! All of my Super-wash Merino wool is from a mill that sources mulesing-free wool from Argentina, Uruguay and Europe. It’s sourced from farms of varying sizes, including small farms.

I hand-dye most of my colourways in unique, one-of-a-kind batches. Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project.

Your Happiness is a Priority for Me

I prioritise the quality of my hand-dyeing Process, check carefully for tangles. take care that the photographs you see are representative of the real product, and think about what I, as an avid knitter, would like to receive after placing an order with a small business.
