Description
BFL Wool/Nylon ‘Moody’
This BFL Wool/Nylon ‘Moody’ is a Fingering/4 Ply wool, hand-dyed in my home studio near Angoulême, France. BFL is very soft on the skin, yet because of the fleece having a long staple length, it’s hard wearing and naturally resistant to pilling – so perfect for socks!
My BFL Wool/Nylon ‘Moody’ is hand dyed in deep to mid-blues and has brown speckles. It’s a sumptuous, smooth, soft, yet strong yarn that’s perfect for socks! Of course, my BFL Wool/Nylon ‘Moody’ / ‘Sombre’ is also great for larger garments and knits up beautifully for shawls, cowls, hats, mittens and scarves.
Even my repeatable colourways are hand-dyed in small batches of 5 skeins because of my fastidious quality control methods. I put only one batch into the shop at a time, so please make sure you buy enough yarn to complete your intended project.
All of my BFL is from small, well-managed British farms. These farms adhere to high animal welfare standards. It’s spun in British mills.
Your Happiness is a Priority for Me
I prioritise the quality of my hand-dyeing dyeing process, check carefully for tangles. take care that the photographs you see are representative of the real product, and think about what I, as an avid knitter, would like to receive after placing an order with a small business.
